The existing Digital Prospector platform relied on multiple third-party charting libraries to visualize factory and operational data. As industrial datasets grew in size and complexity, the platform began experiencing performance bottlenecks, inconsistent user experiences, and limited customization capabilities.
Rendering dense time-series manufacturing data, machine telemetry, operational losses, and sensor information became increasingly difficult while maintaining responsiveness and visual clarity. The fragmented visualization architecture also increased maintenance overhead and made it challenging to introduce new analytics capabilities.
To continue scaling across multiple factories and industrial environments, the platform required a modernized visualization engine capable of handling large datasets efficiently while providing a consistent and customizable analytics experience.
